Designer Furniture (14)
A few examples of furniture that I have designed and built over the years. -
Moon Bed (12)
A collaborative design; engineering inspired by a Zen Monk, Moon headboard motif inspired by my Japanese client, final design and construction by me. Made with solid woods; hard white maple, Honduras mahogany and plywood, without metal fasteners. This bed breaks down for shipping and has four very ample drawers to utilize space underneath. -
Kando Chest (12)
Made from solid woods; American black walnut, hard white maple and Honduras mahogany, with a clear natural finish. This chest is a curtain wall design without the walls, thus making the internal workings into the facade. No metal fasteners or hardware were used in its construction. -
Coffee and Tea Service (15)
Designed and built for a Zen Monastery in 2009. In their final form, they were installed with a dark green granite top. The hutch on the left is placed on the credenza after the top is installed. This suite included one more credenza. All units were made from solid white oak wood and veneer and given a clear satin polymerized tong oil finish. -
Carpenter's Furniture (4)
