Restoration of this 95 year old door was two years in the making and took about 30 days once started. I saved everything except the three vertical panels that were replaced and the new wooden handle. The hinges and pulls are solid nickle, possibly cast in Europe. The lock set was cast from steel and bronze. Except for some minor wear, all of the hardware still operates perfectly. This door was designed to last for as long as it is maintained. It has touched many lives and will touch many more.
